Boarding usually closes 5-10 minutes before the scheduled departure time. The boat cannot wait for latecomers, so plan your transit accordingly.
Sunset is universally considered the most magical time. The 'Blue Hour' offers perfect lighting for photos before the city lights fully take over.
For Christmas, New Year's Eve, and Valentine's Day, booking weeks or even months in advance is essential as these dates sell out instantly.
Note that normal public transport tickets are NOT valid on these private sightseeing cruises, although some small ferries across the river are part of the PID system.
